Is that ice hockey? That looks like a really dangerous and violent game. I was suposed to play hockey at school but a couple of games was enough for me - too many bruised ankles for my liking. I am afraind I used my disability to my advantage and pleaded that it was too much for me and got out of playing it. (I knew exactly how to get my own way with some of the teachers!!)

Hockey is like a religion up here. Hence the expression, to "..watch it religiously" I only know one person who doesnt follow whats going on in the NHL to some extent. If you ever meet a Canadian, you can always stike up a conversation with them and ask them about hockey.

i play field hockey and roller hockey, its never cold enough here to warrant ppl spending the money on an entire stadium for ice hockey so it is relatively defunct down under. There are a few but hardly a sport here.
