Does anyone know how to write a C program (preferably using DJGPP) in which a large block of data is incorporated directly into the executable at compile time, rather than having to load it from an external file at run-time? What I'm thinking of is incorporating an 8x8 bitmap font, something along the lines of: extern const char font[96][8]={$i font.bin} (Yes, I know that's almost certainly not the correct syntax... ) Can this be done? If so, how?
